2004 vs. 2018.
Drastic!

It’s like you’re a whole new man. Or should I say, hole new.

That is a delightfully funky car.

Nice car in the background of that last photo lol

It is really a cool car. Most Oppo thing I ever saw was him changing his daughter's diaper on the trunk

I’m partial to the one in the background of the first pic, myself! ;)

It’s from an oddball manufacturer that always made oddball cars, but decided in ‘56-’58 to just copy Ford and Chevy by re-skinning the same car they’d been building since ‘53. So in that sense, it’s a red-headed step child of an oddball manufacturer. My dad has always been a Studebaker man, but mostly with Hawks and Avantis. For some reason, these tri-5 ripoffs have always tickled my fancy.

So that’s a Studebaker? I’d be inclined to rivet a patch over the rust hole in the fenders.

I’ve got a pair of rust-free fenders for it... but as you may have inferred from this post, this has been a slow moving project.

Sort of like Rusty, my ‘71 GMC Van. Been sitting more than two years, though it starts and drives and I’ve had it up and down the street a few times. I could activate the registration tomorrow and drive it around except that you can’t open the doors from inside the van. Slight problem...

As long as the windows roll down I don’t see the issue.

Sometimes they do. Sometimes rather than roll down, they drop inside the door. The doors need work.
